Kitchen sink manufacturers and Franke and Astracast are two of favourite kitchen appliance providers – and, we’re not the only ones who feel this way. This week, it was announced that both of these companies are finalists in the 2015 Bathrooms and Kitchen Update Awards.

Astracast and Franke have both been named as finalists in the ‘Best Sinks Brand’ category. They have been nominated alongside Blanco, RAK and Abode. All of these manufacturers offer UK homeowners great products that aim to make life easier while cooking and cleaning in the kitchen.

In order for a kitchen appliance brand to be considered for an award, it must meet stringent criteria. As such, they must manufacture relevant products available in the UK market, which meet industry standard for quality and safety. Astracast and Franke certainly meets these requirements, providing homeowners across the UK with a wide range of high-quality kitchen sinks.

Astracast is a kitchen sinks manufacturer that was established in 1984 in Leeds. It was the first-ever kitchen sink brand to create coloured composite sinks, and has earned a great reputation for manufacturing durable, high-grade granite sinks.
