Take A Look At Our Range Of Ovens
At Ship It Appliances, we are pleased to provide a selection of ovens and cookers that offer great quality at an affordable price. Choose from single and double ovens as well as range cookers powered by gas, electricity or dual fuel.
We stock everything from compact single ovens for smaller kitchens and perhaps those looking for a cheap oven option, through to triple range cookers for large families and busy chefs. There are all-in-one units with built-in hobs, as well as standalone integrated ovens (for which you’ll need to purchase a hob separately). Our product range is designed to help you mix and match appliances to suit your needs and build your perfect kitchen.
We carry top quality ovens including single and double oven variants which have earned plenty of praise for their powerful performance and simple design, as well as their fantastic range cookers. Don’t forget our in-house brand SIA, which offers a range of single and double ovens in varying designs.
Our range cookers feature glass doors which can easily be removed for cleaning. These doors also allow you to check on the food you’re cooking without the need to open the oven door (and consequently let out the heat), helping you to get perfect results, every time.
Cooker Hoods and Extractors
Don’t forget to look at our bundles which include cooker hoods and kitchen extractor fans. We make it easy to match your cooker and hob to the rest of your kitchen by stocking state-of-the-art designs in stainless steel, black and white finishes.
Hobs and Warming Drawers
Some of our cookers even come with specialist hobs that make it easy to cook oriental food thanks to their extra-large hobs suited to teppanyaki grills and woks. Others offer features such as warming drawers and pastry trays that will make cooking your favourite meals even easier and more enjoyable.
Types of Ovens
We have a wide variety of different opinions of oven to choose from, but they have different advantages and disadvantages. You might need to check your kitchen’s compatibility before selecting.
Electric cookers are a popular choice. They use fewer units of energy to reach the same temperature, often making them a good choice for the more environmentally conscious. A full electric cooker, including stove tops, brings the advantage of fast heating up times and are often considered safer than gas. With electric cookers, you are likely to also experience a more even cooking temperature throughout your oven than with gas alternatives.
Gas cookers are a fantastic choice, particularly when they combine an oven and gas stove top. A gas hob gets hotter much more quickly than electric and the temperature can be controlled in an instant. Gas is also cheaper than electricity so could be a good cheap oven option. However, gas ovens can take longer to heat up when cooking large quantities of food and are also more likely to unevenly distribute heat.
Fan ovens are available for electric cookers and gas cookers (although are found more frequently in the former). They utilise a fan to circulate air within the oven, helping to keep the temperature even throughout. This ensures food is evenly cooked. It’s also great at reducing the amount of energy needed to cook food as the temperature can be set slightly lower.
