The CERH60BL-CHL60BL saver pack consists of a 60cm ceramic hob and black chimney cooker hood from SIA, our in-house brand of kitchen appliances. The hob has a sleek black ceramic glass surface with soft touch control buttons, that make cleaning quick and easy. The cooker hood is small but powerful helping you keep your kitchen clean and fresh. These appliances have been chosen as they match perfectly and will fit in with any kitchens décor.
Ceramic refers to the finish of a hob rather than the workings of the hob itself. These cooktops work thanks to the heating elements underneath the glass surface which warm up and transfer heat to the selected cooking zone. They are considerably quicker to heat up than their solid plate counterparts. The streamlined and stylish look of ceramic glass along with the ease of use and wipe-clean facade make ceramic hobs a popular choice.
The cooker hood is suitable for either internal re-circulation – air is passed through a charcoal filter, purified and released back into the kitchen, or external extraction – cooking odours and vapours are transferred outside with the help of a ducting kit.
